Engage with the word, works, and way of Jesus while discovering the principles of going from having a ministry to leading a movement: reproducing disciples instead of just recruiting more volunteers, multiplying communities instead of just adding more people. During the two year track, you will progress from discipleship to mission, from the singular to the movemental, through a series of four 4-day Onsite Training Events (Immersion Experiences) with weekly Coaching and Times of Retreat. You will experience proven vehicles for discipleship and mission (like Huddle and Missional Community), evaluate your current realities, and look to where God is calling your church.

Building a Discipling Culture

If you make disciples you always get the church, but if you focus on making the church, you rarely get disciples. Discipleship is the “operating system”, the foundation, the engine that makes everything else work and is therefore foundational to the future work you will do in multiplying leaders, mobilizing mission, and cultivating a movement.

During this immersion experience, we focus on learning from Jesus’ process and methodology for making disciples.

 Multiplying Missional Leaders

The key to movemental breakthrough is not only creating disciples, but in creating disciples that create disciples that create disciples (and so on), which means that disciples need to become leaders.

In this Immersion Experience, we will look at what is means to train leaders instead of simply recruiting volunteers, creating an environment where leaders have the freedom and framework to flourish and make disciples themselves. We go after multiplication in this immersion.

Leading Missional Communities

Discipleship and mission go hand-in-hand, so as you are discipling leaders, mobilizing and equipping them to live missionally is a key competency. Missional Communities (MCs) are a vehicle for training people to live together on mission every day, mobilizing the church to live out her calling.

During this Immersion Experience, we will explore how to use MCs to help people learn the dynamic of living as a family on mission, how the concepts of Covenant & Kingdom impact MC life, the strategy Jesus used for Evangelism and Kingdom advancement, how to launch (and grow) MCs, and how to move from discipling a small group of people to releasing a movement of mission.

Leading Kingdom Movements

In three years, Jesus unleashed a movement that changed the course of human history. The early church did this by simply doing the things Jesus taught them to do. We all want to see a movement of God’s kingdom unleashed, but what are the dynamics we need to cultivate if we’re going to see it happen?

In this final Immersion Experience, we will explore the dynamics required to create a white hot center that fuels a movement of God’s kingdom beyond the walls of a church building.
